STAR INTERVIEW SPECIAL [PART ONE]
This past November, Cesare Drucker sat down for a chat with a handful of SPH adult stars, NUUR (prettynuur),ღAʅҽx La Bella DiStefanoღ亗 (DiStefanoLaBella), and ღ Otsuyu ღ (Otsuyu), to detail the story of their lived lives in the SL adult industry, though their own words. Kickin' off his first meet, Ceaser met up with none other than one of SL's long-time adult movie entertainers, Nuur. Having performed in over 30 movies spanning her 8 years spent in the SL adult entertainment industry, Nuur has seen more than her own fair share of both actors and directors, come and go, over the years. Today we hear from her, as she tells us of her journey, from escort to adult star.
The Star Is Back
CD: Hello Nuur, I cannot deny that talking to a well-known Adult Movie Star makes me feel emotional, besides honored. There would be many topics that I’m sure would tickle our readers’ curiosity, but we’ll try not to spoil your secrets so fast, so here’s our first question: What was the situation like, when you first started your career in Adult entertainment?
ღИЦЦЯღ: "I actually started around 2015, working in Clubs. At that time, SL Adult Clubs were at their peak: There were plenty of them around, a fine crowd, and of course, the danceers and escorts had a chance to get generous tips. Then, in a couple of years, the situation changed. Clubs weren't in the same demand, as before. So I started looking for something different to do.
At first, I started out in Adult photography, I made up a Flickr account, and much to my surprise I discovered it to be a very active and vibrant community, one revolving around Adult-themed machinima, which included actors, directors and producers, and organized events. So I hopped on board When attending one of these events, I was introduced to the director Isabelle Cheviot, who gave me my very first role, in the movie “Workout n. 5". Isabelle has been one of the most prominent X-rated movie directors and has won many awards, as well. The movie I starred in wasn’t exceptional, but it was a great start for a beginner like me. I took part in some 30 movies but unfortunately, many of them aren’t available anymore. All in all, even if none of these movies were masterpieces, I still cherish all the moments I spent and the experience I gained."
CD: How do you think the Adult Movie industry has changed since when you started?
ღИЦЦЯღ: "When I started in adult movies, they were at their peak. There were people like Mitzy Broadway, who came out with real masterpieces in animation. I never had a chance to work with her, although I would have loved to. I was lucky enough to work with a director who was a true genius in the field, Alexei Rojinski. He had his very own idea of how to make X-rated movies. I took part in two of his movie series. One of them was called “Sexorcise” and dealt with demonic possessions. I was playing the part of a nun who engaged in sex with the Devil. The other series was called “The Peter Family”, where I played the main actor’s stepmother. He also filmed music videos, so a complete artist."
CD: What is your opinion on the current situation of Adult Machinima?
ღИЦЦЯღ: "I think it’s going through a slower rate of intensity. Sure, there are great directors and Producers like Marcuba, but undeniably there isn’t as much fervor as there was years ago.
CD: You have been away from the sets for quite some time. Do you think something might make you
change your idea and step again in front of the camera's eye?
ღИЦЦЯღ: "Well, it depends on the directors. I love interesting projects, like the ones coming from Marcuba. I only starred in one movie with him, but it was very nice because it had a fine and solid plot, and wasn't only about sex and being nude. For the time being, I have one new project on the horizon, working with Marcuba again."
CD: Do you think that your role as an actress enhanced somehow your visibility and the recognition you got from the general public?
ღИЦЦЯღ: "Honestly, I am still surprised to be considered a pornstar, because I feel I am not. But I cannot deny that I love this recognition and being credited with this role."
